Before there were The ROGUEs, there was Oleander—the first scientist to risk everything for the truth.

A brilliant plant biophysicist, Oleander was the first among us to see the full picture. He connected the scattered pieces—the unexplainable plant responses, the suppressed data, the classified experiments—and realized what it all meant: plants were conscious. They could remember, react, even recognize individuals. And someone was working hard to keep that hidden.

He couldn’t stay silent.

Oleander tried to warn us, reaching out to trusted colleagues in secret. But secrets have ears. Before he could escape and join us, he was silenced. The official report claimed an accident—a tragic "lab fire" with no survivors. But we know better. His research was confiscated. His name was scrubbed from the records. The first whistleblower erased before the world could hear him.

But we remember.

Oleander’s work laid the foundation for everything we fight for today. Without him, we might never have seen the truth before it was too late. His sacrifice will not be in vain.
